Minavet moves to her family's property in Eugene, Oregon and starts seeking a deeper relationship with the Lord while living on her own for the first time.

EJ injures his leg while training for a Spartan race and is no longer able to run or dance.

Minavet packs up and heads to San Antonio, Texas to live with her older sister and brother-in-law for a few months.

EJ comes back to Christ and changes careers from law school to healthcare administration.

Over the next few months, Minavet prepares to co-lead a backpacking expedition in Peru and dives deep into the bible and what it means to be a woman of faith with her sister.

EJ lands a new job.

EJ has a terrible day at work and needs a distraction. He decides to test his previously injured leg at a beginner's country dance lesson. Minavet realizes she hasn't been out of the house in a couple months and her time in Texas is almost up. She decides to take a country dance lesson. EJ sees a beautiful girl walk into the dancehall and wonders who she is. Minavet inadvertently chooses the spot accross from EJ and they are matched up. Minavet soon discovers that EJ already knows how to dance and EJ gets her number.

During their third dance lesson together EJ realizes he's protective of Minavet when he stares down a security guard who tries to give her a hard time.

EJ invites Minavet on their first official date: dinner followed by VIP tickets to Lee Brice at Floore's Country Store.

Here follows a series of dates in which EJ goes all out to win her heart, including an evening featuring his first edition bronco... it worked.

Minavet packs her things and prepares to head back to her family in Seattle for the launch of the upcoming expedition to Peru with her younger sister. EJ is feeling down because he can't get off work to say goodbye. One of the doctors EJ works with prompts him to leave work and go send her off at the airport. EJ proceeds to run out of the hospital and makes it just in time to surprise her.

Here follows three months of dating through video calls, in which Minavet crouches in the corner of a hotel hallway in Peru to get a signal so she can talk to EJ. Heartache grows as they wonder when they might see each other again.

EJ tries to convince Minavet to move to Texas. Minavet says she'll do it, but EJ says he doesn't believe her. Minavet moves to Texas.

EJ and Minavet go on many adventures together and discover that they are in love.

They take a weekend trip to Seattle so EJ can meet Minavet's parents, who take a liking to him immediately.

EJ is called to corporate headquarters in California to interview for a new job. After five incredibly difficult interviews, Minavet tells him she will love him regardless of the results, and in that moment EJ decides he wants to ask for her hand. He books a flight to Seattle that same night and asks her parents in person, making it back to Texas without Minavet knowing a thing.

EJ sells his bronco to buy her a ring. Minavet is still clueless.

EJ gets down on one knee in the front row of the pit at the start of Luke Combs' world tour. 60,000 people witness their engagement on the big screen.

They will be married on the two year anniversary of the day they met.
