Brian and Ember’s love story began with their love of travel which helped them find each other! Brian grew up traveling the world as a military kid and continued into his own career as a military officer until retiring in 2021. Ember was born and raised in Arkansas and lived almost 20 years in New York City, traveling with friends and family at every chance. Neither of them expected to find love when they met where Brian was living at the time, in Bluffton, South Carolina, during one of Ember’s cross country road trips. Their paths unexpectantly crossed again soon after in Jacksonville, Florida where Ember was visiting a friend and Brian was on his way to a work trip in Cuba. Then they began planning meetups along Embers travels. Brian even flew a plane to meet her and take her on a sunset flight overlooking the Florida coastline. Their journey continued through many adventures from state to state including New Years Eve in Nashville, snow-skiing in Colorado, Broadway shows in New York City, and meeting Brian’s three wonderful daughters in Virginia. They both moved to Arkansas in the summer of 2023 after Brian started his own business there. Their love story continued with more travels including hiking national parks, paddle boarding in Hawaii, and getting engaged in Kansas City! Now they are excited to build a life together, continue the adventures, and celebrate their long-awaited love. Well worth the wait!
