Emerson and Christophers journey began on the very first day they moved into their dorms at Sam Houston State University, where mutual friends introduced them. The friendship grew quickly, with the two even often turning to one another for relationship advice and support.

In September of their sophomore year, they went on their first official date at Main Event, followed by dinner at House of Pies. The very next day, Chris walked just seven doors down from his dorm to Emersons, and asked her to be his girlfriend.

After graduating from Sam Houston State University, they stayed in Huntsville for a year, embarking on the early stages of their careers and building a life together.

In May 2023, a new chapter began when they made the move to Tempe, Arizona, where Emerson accepted a position at Arizona State University. Not long after, Chris joined the ASU police force, marking a new and exciting chapter for both of them.

Now, after years of growth, love, and adventure, Emerson and Christopher cant wait to celebrate their love with family and friends in December 2025!
