After over four years of dating, Trenten and Emery are finally making it official! They are so excited to start their life together while attending BYU-Idaho. Emery is going to school to become a nurse and Trenten is pursing a pre-med education. They are so excited to start this next chapter of their lives together and to see what the future brings. 
 
Emery: Well... I first saw Trenten one summer Sunday when he walked into my church meeting and I remember thinking "oh my gosh, that boy is so cute." We were only 14 and he was way out of my league. Fast forward a few months and Trenten managed to get my number and according to him I basically ignored him but I don't remember (oops). It wasn't until Trenten decided to transfer to my high school that he reached out again and asked if I'd like to show him around. I still couldn't believe that the super cute boy wanted to talk to me. Little did I know that he would be my high school sweetheart and my future eternal companion. 
 
Trenten: The first time I ever met Emery was in a Sunday school class at church that I was actually not supposed to be in. See, I&#8217;m eight months younger than Emery which put me in the class below her, I didn&#8217;t know that though, I figured I just got lucky enough to be a class with a super cute girl in it. Looking back on it however, it was probably a good thing I was taken out of the class because I spent more time staring at the girl that would become my wife more than I spent actually listening to the lessons being taught.
&#160;&#160;&#160; I had a very big crush on Emery from that point on, and it wasn&#8217;t until a temple trip to Seattle where I actually got her number. I&#8217;d say I was just really good with the ladies, but it was really all her fault. She prank phone called my phone on the way back from the temple and I saved her number pretty much immediately. I of course did what any smart kid would have done, and waited to text her for about a month, but when I finally worked up the urge to do it I was greeted by the most kind, sweet, and genuinely fun person I&#8217;d ever talked to. For about half a day that was until she mysteriously had to go make dinner and never texted me again. She hates when I tell this story so I&#8217;ll shorten it, eventually we started talking consistently for a couple of days until a stake dance came around. I texted her the day before to see if she wouldn&#8217;t mind dancing with me. Like I said I am just really smooth. So the day came, a slow dance came on, and I asked her to dance. We danced and talked for the three minutes until it was over and then she left. It was at that point that I was completely at a loss of what to do, I couldn&#8217;t dance with another girl because I really liked her, but at the same time it would have been weird for me to go back and ask her to dance again. Eventually another slow song came on and I just had to swallow my pride and go ask her again, luckily she said yes again. After that it seemed completely different, we spent the rest of the night talking and dancing every slow song together. We talked nonstop every day, even during classes. Then when I finally transferred to her high school freshman year we started officially dating. Ever since then we have been together and she has stayed by my side through everything life has thrown at us, and I couldn&#8217;t be more excited to finally marry the love of my life.
