***Homegrown: local, farm-to-table vibes - my fav breakfast spot! Wait times can be long, so check in ahead on yelp
***Doo Dah Diner: classic, old-timey diner - a Wichita legend with SO many delicious options! Sunday is a buffet and can be expensive but is so delicious, Saturday would be regular breakfast options
***Public @ the Brickyard: downtown vibe - they serve great food and also have delicious cocktails for later!

***Las Adelitas: vibrant - more of a chat-with-friends coffee shop than a sit-and-study coffee shop. Lots of delicious baked goods and great coffee with a Hispanic flair!
***Coffee Daze: cutesy/green - enough space to be sit&study or gather to chat, lots of plant decor
***Il Primo: cozy/cheap - my favorite latte in town! Small and cozy environment with <$4 plain latte or TONS of fun flavor combos to choose from
***Fairmount coffee: spacious/modern - right next to WSU campus, good coffee, price on brand with a cutesy coffee shop and lots of indoor/outdoor space; can get busy!
***Reverie: energizing space - locally roasted coffee that has a kind of invigorating vibe and really good drink/eats
***Pennant Coffee: coffee + perusing - located in Revolutsia (contains lots of fun lil shops) some claim this is the best coffee in Wichita & you will surely be able to meander around the other shops for an enjoyable afternoon
***The Rusted Rooster: cozy/dark - in Andover, a cozy little shop with fun coffee flavors and a slow-paced environment

***Public @ the Brickyard: true bricktown vibe - fun cocktails, craft beer and indoor/outdoor seating

***GROW: green/unique - this plant shop also has happy hour deals on their otherwise slighly priced drinks - definitely a cute girl vibe with some interesting plant accessories!

***Town East Mall: big time mall. big time fun. Has most mall stores but not the fancy high end ones.
***Greenwich Place Shopping Center: big time bargains! A newer constructed shopping center with more affordable options and entertainment

***Great Plains Nature Center: Enjoy some of the natural beauty and learn about the Plains! (outdoor walking path = free)
***College Hill stroll: if you love to walk and also enjoy marveling at different house designs, park at College Hill park and stroll through the park/neighborhoods! (free)
***Top Golf: Hangs + golf + games + snacks all in one
***Chicken N Pickle: pickleball courts, yard games, chicken-heavy-but-not-exclusively-chicken menu, and beer/cocktails (some free-play courts with equipment rentals available)

***Exploration Place: an awesome, interactive science museum that is sure to invigorate younger kids minds and be fun for parents as well! Right along the Arkansas River and can see the "Keeper of the Plains" statue as well - you can read about the Native American history at the Keeper statue and watch them light the fires at sundown
***Botanica: a beautiful garden with so many types of flowers, a butterly garden, and beautiful displays of nature
***Tanganyika: an interactive zoo experience! Can feed birds, walk through the kangaroo display, and ride a camel (all for additional costs)
***Sedgwick County Zoo: a great zoo with a notable elephant exhibit, interactive stingray exhibit, and a really fun new train ride
***Scheel's: has a small arcade, big fish tanks, and arguably one of the most fun displays of taxidermy animals upstairs (free to peruse)
