My name is Mike and I'm the best man. I've known David for over 10 years. We share a common interest in general shenanigans and tomfoolery.. I always say "we're big kids with adult budgets". When David met Emi, he realized he had found another kid at heart to join his chosen family. She embraced him and all his quirks, and now I'm happy to be a part of them levelling up together.

I first met Emi, many moons ago, when we were sat next to each other for a summer while repeating high school math. We became the best friends a few years later. I was lucky enough to be close with Emi when she met David. I got a front row seat to the magic forming. Since the beginning, David has always been welcoming of me in his life, and we’ve become very good friends over the time of their relationship. I couldn’t imagine my life without these two spectacular people in it. I want nothing but happiness for them and their futures together.

I met David at Bigshots - He was witty and sarcastic. I quickly began to share one line jokes with him. We quickly learned how to communicate in short sentences. The comments we made to each other were mostly cracking jokes about the job, customers or even our coworkers. One of our coworkers was mentioning to David about a young lady who was expressing some interest in him. When she came in it was an instant "No way. She's too pretty for him, sorry." When I met Emi she was very nice and carried herself well so... we thought David would screw it up somehow. As the weeks went on, we find out how calm, collected, and cool Emi was and still is. Even though some of us made fun of him or embarrassed him, she stayed and even came back! Emi has made her claim and David gladly accepted it! I am very happy for the two of them and wish them the best!!!

I met Emi during my short 2 1/2 years in Orange County, and though my time living down the street from her was brief, she quickly became my family. Holidays, birthdays, any free weekend to do day trips get pedicures, or even just a quick errand was spent with her. David always welcomed me, without hesitation, whether I was bumming around their home or for stopping in for a quick hello at the bar. He is clearly her person, and I am honored to stand next to them as they marry each other. Love to you both!!!

I met David shortly after I was born, when he asked our mom if I could be returned to the hospital "where I came from." The first of many brotherly insults. When he brought Emi to meet the family I, like everyone else, thought "HA no way she's way too good for this idiot." However, she stuck around for 4 years until David realized he should really put a ring on her. They are great together and I'm glad that they both have found their person.

Hi I’m Lilia! I’m from Orange County and I just recently graduated and am working as a dentist. I met Emi in 2020 and we became fast friends. From our wine nights, shopping excursions, long nights of making pasta, to our love for our four-legged babies. She’s become someone I really admire and love. She’s been such an amazing friend who cares for everyone around her and is more loved than she realizes. Throughout our friendship, it’s been such a blessing to be around her and David. I met David not too long after I met Emi and he has also become a very good friend. He’s so funny and easy to be around. David is kind, caring, hilarious and treats her like a queen. I’m Trey and I’m one of the groomsmen. I’ve known Emi since high school. She basically appropriated my family and here we are still friends more than 10 years later. I only met David when the two of them started dating. I was one of the first people Emi told about the crush she had on one of the bartenders at Bigshots. Now, they’re about to be married and I couldn’t be happier for the both of them.

I remember always wanting to go bug Emi while she was making drinks because she could make me laugh when we were having a brutal shift. What was once a work friendship turned into a genuine connection consisting of monthly wine nights, dance parties and always making sure my hair looks on point!
