It is no secret that Caleb and Emilee love to travel. Whether it is a trip to South Bend for a Notre Dame football game, visiting the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, going to Las Vegas to see Adele, or across the state to sweet Madison, IN - they LOVE to travel. So, it should be no surprise that Caleb proposed to Emilee while traveling.

Emilee and Caleb were both so excited for a vacation with no distractions or work - and to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Kauai. They quickly got into a routine of morning coffee, and then a good book by the pool or beach for the remainder of the day.

Around the third day of the trip, Caleb started to ask Emilee if she wanted to go on a hike. This is the girl that hiked a national park for her 30th birthday - but she was SO enjoying soaking up the sunshine and a good book, that she politely said no... for a few days. Finally, Caleb convinced her to wake up early one morning to watch the sunrise over the cliffs. After walking around for an hour of seeing the views, Emilee was ready to head back to the pool. When she turned around to head down the cliff, Caleb popped the question!
