Christopher and I grew up in the same town for the majority of our life’s. We became best friends four years ago through mutual friends, still being so close we never seemed to catch each other’s eye until that third year. At that time and still to this day we are beyond thankful for the lords perfect timing and how it is such a blessing to know that it was His plan all along.

After spending every day for about a month of long phone calls and texts. Christopher came home from work and took me on a date Saturday evening. We were so excited I don’t think either of us stopped smiling that night, you could tell we were beyond happy to finally express the feelings we had for each other. I’ll never forget that night as we both shared how genuinely happy we were to be in each other’s presence.

Even though Christopher worked miles away, he always made sure that I came first. We talked every single day until he came home that next month. We went on a few more dates, and spent lots of time together before he went back to work. When he was getting ready to leave it felt a lot harder to let him go this time even though I had been telling him bye for at least a year at this point.

The more I thought to myself the more I could see myself loving this man for the rest of my life. He had been everything I had been praying for plus more! Christopher was truly a blessing from the lord himself and I thank the lord everyday for letting me and Christopher start this next chapter in our lives.
