We ask all guest to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time! Please take into consideration travel time, traffic, parking, and finding a seat!
Where can I get a hotel?
We have rooms blocked at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Athens, TX.
Guest need to mention code “VGW” when calling the hotel to book their reservation. The cutoff date is 9/23/24, after this date all rooms that are left over in the block will be released back into hotel regular inventory.
All guests wanting to book within the block must call the hotel directly. During the booking process they will be asked to place a card on the reservation. This card will not be
charged until the day of arrival. Please also be mindful that any cancellations will have to be made by 6pm the day before arrival, if not the guest will be charged.
The rate per night is: $129.00 for single and double bed rooms.
Is the wedding ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?
Both! The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors. Please be cautious of the weather for the ceremony!
Is there an open bar?
Yes! Drinks are on us.
Where do I park?
There is parking onsite at the venue location! Please carpool if possible!
Is there a registry?
We chose not to do a large registry. While we love that idea. We are lucky enough to have everything we need for this next chapter of our lives! A contribution towards our honeymoon fund is much appreciated. The biggest gift of all, of course, is your presence on our Big Day!
What is the dress code?
We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is semi-formal attire. Please stay away from wearing white, cream, ivory and red.
How or when do I need to RSVP?
To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website or scan the QR Code with your smart phone that is included on the back of your invitation. Please RSVP all plus ones, guest and family members in your party. Please respond by September 19th, 2024.
Will there be food?
Yes! Dinner and cake will be served shortly after the ceremony.
Are children allowed?
Of course. Bring the kiddos to celebrate! Completely up to our guest.
