Love really does come when you least expect it.
Braden was in college, and I was a senior in high school when our journey began. We met through a mutual friend and started chatting on Snapchat.
After talking for a while, we discovered something funny — we had actually danced together a few years earlier at an FFA dance and hadn’t even realized it! It felt like fate had been quietly working behind the scenes to bring us back together.
One night, Braden was working late in the field, and texting back and forth just wasn’t cutting it. So, we decided to talk on the phone instead — and that call changed everything. We talked all night long, even though Braden had to be up early for work in Minot the next morning at 6 a.m. From that night on, we both knew there was something special between us.
Not long after, we decided it was finally time to meet in person. The excitement (and nerves!) were real, but the moment we saw each other, everything felt right — like we had known each other forever. From that day on, our connection only grew stronger.
Through school, long distance, and all of life’s little adventures, we’ve built a relationship full of laughter, support, and love.
Now, as we begin this next chapter as husband and wife, we’re so grateful for the journey that brought us here — and for all the family and friends who have been part of our story along the way.
