In August 2004, 12 year old Emili started a new chapter in her life and moved to Pawleys Island, SC with her family. Cory was the boy next door who was chasing fly balls in the outfield and chasing waves on the weekends. Cory and Emili became quick friends and remained that way for several years before he finally asked her out over the phone while she was babysitting one July night in 2007. Of course she said yes, seeing as she had a crush on him since day 1 of moving to Pawleys. Since then, they have grown together from being young bright eyed high schoolers and sweethearts, to becoming Clemson Tigers, to moving to FL, to buying a house, and now to starting their careers in Charleston. Flash forward through a whole decade of supporting each other and sharing countless memories, laughs, inside jokes, and ups and downs- making them more prepared than ever for the journey ahead.

Cory proposed to Emili August 21, 2015 at the same house where he asked her to be his girlfriend the night she was babysitting in 2007, and of course, she said yes! He was holding an 8-week old Boykin Spaniel puppy who they later named Tucker, and is now the center of their lives!

Emili and Cory are thrilled to be starting this new chapter in their lives together and are looking forward to sharing their big day with everyone!
