Emilie and Max met late summer in 2017 starting their freshman year at Penn State Altoona. They quickly became friends from going out and attending 7 pm mass at the campus chapel. By the time the end of the school year rolled around they were dating.

Throughout their time at Penn State, they both worked hard, spent a lot of time in the library together, ate many of canyon wings and enjoyed friends and downtown bars all while Emilie was working towards her engineering degree and Max preparing for Chiropractor school. Which he will be graduating from in December 2024.

Graduation came and went, as did family vacations together, more holidays, and NYE kisses. As Emilie started her professional career and Max started school they entered in a new phase of their relationship. Long distance. They didn’t skip a beat, Emilie racked up Allegiant flier miles visiting Max in Port Orange, FL and Max vice versa visiting home in Pittsburgh.

On Jan 2 of 2024 Max proposed to Emilie down by the crick where she had grown so many fond memories growing up and where she then shared those memories with Max.

In March of 2018 little did “Hov” and “Meez” know they would be married 7 years and some months later.

They are excited to share their love on their day.
