Way back in the Spring of 2012, Jesse and Emilie met through mutual friends while attending the spring dances at Kapaun Mt. Carmel. Shortly after, the pair attended the same Prayer and Action Retreat Camp and began fostering a close friendship.

The couple has long been involved with Wichita Adore Ministries, and is blessed to be a part of the great group of friends (really, more of a family) that make up the ministry team.

In the spring of 2016, Jesse and Emilie dated for short while, then decided to remain just friends.

FINALLY in 2019, Jesse got his wits back about him, and the two began dating again in November. After several months of dating and discerning God's will and enduring the fantastic year of 2020 together, Emilie said yes to Jesse's proposal on August 11, 2020 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wichita.

The two eagerly await taking the next step of their journey and vocation as we approach May 15, 2021. They look forward to walking together through life, through all the lake days and memories God has in store for them.
