Grace and Emilio were just fifteen when they began talking in March 2020. What started as a simple connection quickly grew into something meaningful. But as time went on, they realized their relationship was built on the wrong foundation rather than a strong foundation in Christ. Without that anchor, things became complicated—misunderstandings, struggles, and a growing sense that something was missing.

At nineteen, Emilio had a powerful encounter. He heard a pastor preaching on the street, and the message cut deep. It opened his eyes to the truth, and he couldn’t ignore it. He went to Grace and said, “This is what we’ve needed all along—we need Jesus at the center of our lives.”

That conversation changed everything. They chose to turn their hearts to God and begin a new path. They let their pastor walk with them, helping them face their past and grow in faith. Not long after, they made the decision to get baptized—together—marking a new chapter as they gave their lives fully to Jesus.

On March 18, 2025, Emilio proposed to Grace in what will soon be their first home. It was a beautiful reminder of how far they’d come and who brought them there.

Their relationship was restored and redefined by God’s grace. And now, as they look toward marriage, they know one thing for sure: this love story only exists because of Jesus—and they’re committed to following Him every step of the way
