Ramsey Wedding Info💕 #aloharamseys Aloha! We are so elated to announce we are getting married in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii on April 24th, 2026. We know destination weddings require more preparation, so here's some information to assist in planning! VENUE (ceremony/reception): Our ceremony/reception will take place at Papa Kona Restaurant &amp; Bar in downtown Kona - there will be yummy food, drinks, lots of dancin’ and relaxed quality time with the people we love. PLEASE SEE WEDDING DAY TIMELINE TAB for more information about the big day! WEDDING ATTIRE: Hawaiian chic blends island elegance with effortless comfort. Think breathable fabrics, bold tropical prints, and vibrant colors that capture the spirit of aloha. For women, opt for flowy maxi or sundresses in bright hues or floral patterns, paired with wedge sandals, dressy flats, or even tasteful heels. For men, consider linen or cotton aloha shirts paired with tailored slacks, khakis, or a light linen suit. We invite our guests to embrace the tropical vibe — relaxed, colorful, and stylishly comfortable. Nearest AIRPORT: Kona International Airport (KOA) - approximately 17 minutes from the venue. Recommended ACCOMMODATIONS: We encourage our guests to stay where they are comfortable! The venue is located in downtown Kona, so there are many Airbnb's, hotels and resorts nearby depending on budget. We will be staying at the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort from April 19th-23rd and then transitioning to the Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel (11 minutes walking from the venue) from April 23rd to the 28th for the wedding. Other nearby hotels will be the Royal Kona Resort (10 minutes walking from the venue), as well as the Holiday Inn Express &amp; Suites Kailua-Kona by IHG (6 min walking from the venue). TRANSPORTATION: we recommend renting a car if you wish to explore! However, the island does have uber/lyft/taxis and the downtown is walkable with restaurants/bars if coming solely for the wedding (but we hope you can make a vacation out of it!) THE EVENING BEFORE OUR WEDDING: Join Us for a Pre-Wedding Lūʻau! We’re kicking off our wedding weekend with a special evening in Hawaiʻi for anyone who wishes to join us! On April 23rd, we’ll be gathering for a fun and festive lūʻau to celebrate together before the big day. All of the details — including location, timing, pricing, and reservation information — can be found under the Pre-Wedding Lūʻau tab on our website. It would mean the world to us for you to attend all of the festivities, however, we understand life is crazy and we will be thrilled to share photos after the fact! 20-8944881 Featuring 2 onsite restaurants, Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel offers rooms with a flat-screen TV and a balcony. The Kona Beach Hotel is within 5 minutes' walk of the Hulihe`e Palace Museum and has seasonal Luaus. The rooms include a refrigerator and a coffee machine with Kona coffee, as well as air conditioning and an in-room safe. The King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel rooms are modern with island and nature inspired décor. Honu's on the Beach Restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner. The Billfish Bar is located near the pool and features refreshments and a light menu. Guests can shop in the air conditioned mall on the ground floor of the hotel. The Old Kona Airport State Park is within 15 minutes' walk of the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel.

Alex and Emily met in true modern fashion—online! Two years ago, they met up at Sun King in Carmel, IN, and spent four hours walking around downtown Carmel and playing the question game. Alex and Emily embody the true definition of “opposites attract.” With Emily’s bubbly, free-spirited nature and Alex’s grounded, sweet demeanor, the two were like magnets drawn to one another. They love how they bring out the best in each other and how much they enjoy simply doing life together. From pickleball to grocery shopping, they find fun in the little moments. The pair got engaged in Tuscany, Italy, and spent the next six months building a cozy home in Westfield, IN. After enjoying multiple Hawaii layovers together for Emily’s job, they knew Hawaii was where they dreamed of tying the knot. 🌺 The relaxed atmosphere and loving culture made it the perfect place to commit their lives to one another. They continue to feel unbelievably grateful for their journey as a couple and for the many blessings in their lives. The best is yet to come.
