We have known each other since elementary school and have always been friends. I (Emily) had always had a crush on Kade. I even tried to impress him by convincing him that David Akers (the football player) was my cousin and lived with my family... My dad was in on it too.. he autographed a picture of David Akers so I could give it to Kade. LOL. I also had asked Kade to be my boyfriend first, but was quickly rejected and humbled. This was in 4th grade, by the way. Well, in 8th grade, Kade finally came to his senses and finally asked me to be his girlfriend. We have had many bumps in the road the last 10 years (on October 24th) but we ended up making it through highschool, college, and now adult life together. We are even FUR parents together. We can't wait to take this next step in life. It's a scary step, but it's all part of the ride. We are thankful for all of those who have been there along the way and who support us always.
