It all began in 2017 at a high school track meet, a day neither of us knew was coming. Our small-town schools rarely competed at the same events, but for some reason, this meet was different. Jayden originally wasn’t even supposed to be there, but at the last minute, his coaches told him to get ready, and off he went. I remember noticing him right away, and before I could even step on the bus to head home, he had already messaged me on Twitter. That day, it felt like fate had brought us together.

What started as a chance encounter quickly turned into something much more. We became inseparable, spending almost every day together. We shared the simple joys of small-town life, traveling back and forth between our hometowns, attending each other’s school events, and making memories at prom, dances, and graduation celebrations.

When it came time for college, we knew we wanted to stay close. We toured schools together and ultimately decided on the University of Arkansas, where we built a life full of laughter, friendships, and new experiences.

After college, I had a clear path ahead, and chiropractic school was always part of my plan. Jayden, on the other hand, was focused on a pre-dental track and didn’t think much about chiropractic at first. I ended up introducing him to the world of chiropractic care, and he quickly realized how much he could see himself in this profession. Together, we made the decision to move to Dallas and pursue chiropractic school side by side.

Throughout the ups and downs of school, we grew, not only as professionals, but as individuals and as partners. We faced challenges, celebrated victories, and supported each other through all the different milestones. Now, nearly nine years later, we look back on how far we’ve come—from two high school kids who met by chance to two young adults who have built a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering support.

As we take this next step into forever, we feel so incredibly lucky to have each other by our side. And we couldn’t be more excited to share this beautiful moment with all of you—our family, our friends, and the people who have supported us along the way.

Here’s to forever.
