Back in December of 2019, Dalton and Emily both matched on the dating app Hinge. Due to virtual intrigue, and extensive online stalking, they agreed to meet in person. Their first date was on January 4th, 2020 at La Doña Cervecería Brewery. The two hit it off right away and began regularly seeing each other.

Come March 2020, the onset of the pandemic presented the couple bountiful opportunity for quality bonding time. Creative date ideas and minimal social distractions made for the perfect foundation to their relationship.

After two years for happily dating, the couple wanted to take things to the next level. The biggest concern about moving in together came down to the children. Would the cats get along!? They did . . . . eventually.

Living together allowed Dalton and Emily to participate in each other's interests, and form new interests together. Exploring the outdoors quickly become a favorite activity for the couple. This interest is what lead the couple to Alaska.

When the family cruise vacation to Alaska presented itself, the two quickly answered, "yes!". It was here, that Dalton planned a most magical proposal. A secluded beach, surrounded by waterfalls and glaciers, made for the best setting for the couple to get engaged. Having family nearby to celebrate made it all that more special.
