It's a love story with a modern twist! It all started with two right swipes and a confirmed match! They started off sending a few "get to know you" messages. Then, the icebreaker message was sent informing Emily that Forrest was in the Navy and actually lived in Virginia. Emily took this news in stride and they both decided that the distance was only temporary. Forrest was in the process of moving back to Ohio so together they began planning their first date.

Forrest pitched his perfect first date idea:

"We start outside the horseshoe tailgating for a Buckeyes game in the morning, then go to the game and watch them win by 40 points. Afterwards we get invited to the locker room where Coach Day gives us the game ball, tells us this one was for us! Then afterward we go get Graeter's Ice Cream!"

The teacher in Emily was obviously very excited about his use of creativity in this date! Forrest moved back to Ohio in February, and they had their first official date at Texas Roadhouse. After about 8 months of dating Forrest and Emily attended their first Ohio State game together. They didn't meet Coach Day, they didn't get the game ball and they only won by 9 points, but it was still a perfect date! One year later, Forrest and Emily are embarking on the adventure of getting married and building their first home together!
