Things to Do

BUCEE'S!

If you know the couple well (especially Emily) the two LOVE Bucees, and so will you! This Gas station is based out of the great state of Texas and is common in the south east parts of the states! People always ask, "but it's just a gas station?" every person needs to experience Bucee's atleast once in their life! The closest Bucee's is about 10 minutes from the World Golf Village Hotel! Our favorite thing about Bucee's is the brisket bbq sandwich, sweet pecans and their themed shirts for every season!

World Golf Village Courses

World Golf Village not only is a hotel, but a golfing course! Evan loves to golf, and loves this course! If you would like to golf at the village, or anywhere else in north Florida, Evan has many more suggestions!

Saint Augustine

Florida is home to the oldest city in the United States! Saint Augustine is a beautiful place to travel to, with it's historic buildings and landmarks, horse carriage rides, locally owned restaurants, and multiple tourist attractions. Our favorite spot in St Aug is Prohibition Kitchen for dinner and the Sweet Spot for ice cream!

Jax Beaches

Many of you are coming for the beach even if it's only going to be 70 degrees out! And we don't blame you! Jax beach is the closest to us, and we love the coffee shops, Cup of Job, Sago & Bold Bean! Neptune / Atlantic beach is home to one of the best mexican food spots in Florida, the Flying Iguana. With tableside Guac and the best mahi mahi tacos!

South Jax Beaches

Beaches that are closer to World Golf Village are going to be Vilano & Anastasia Island beaches! Our engagement shoot was at Vilano beach, next to a cute family owned motel and restaurant.

Disney-World!

We've had many people ask how far Disney is in relation to Jacksonville, and it's about 2 hours south if you're willing to make the drive and want to stay extra days! (did we mention there are 2 bucee's on the way?!) Disneyworld will be in it's Christmas Era during November, so prices are expected to rise. We haven't had the opportunity to go together, but 10/10 suggest you bring ponchos and buy a dole whip!
