Our Story

Our Story!

Emily's Perspective: From the moment I saw Silas, I knew he was a special guy and I was hoping he would be my special guy forever:) I have liked him from the moment I laid eyes on him, which was evident to everyone but Silas, by my blushing face. I had the BIGGEST crush on him, and I still do and always will. I fall more and more in love with him and the wonderful man of God he is, every single day!

Silas' Perspective: When I finally wised up and saw that Emily was the most amazing woman on earth, I began my journey with the personification of sunshine. She quickly became my absolute best friend.

We are SO grateful God chose us to do life together and that we get to experience everything side by side. We can't wait to see all He has in store for our lives as one, and we pray our relationship is a representation of Christ's love for us. God has been so good to us and has provided for us more than we ever could have imagined He would.

Praise God for this beautiful gift of marriage!!!

Silas decided last minute to come with Emily's family to move Erin down to Mississippi! He rode from West Virginia to Mississippi with Emily, then rode back up to West Virginia with Momma and Mike while Emily stayed two more weeks—and this was just two weeks into dating!

The easiest YES ever! Silas proposed at the West Virginia Botanic Garden which is one of the places we've visited the most. Emily always thought it would be a perfect place for a proposal and always thought she'd love to be proposed to there, but never told anyone until after Silas proposed to her there. Silas is perfect!
