If you ask Daniel how he and Emily met, you will never hear the same story twice. In most cases, it will usually be an elaborate story with Emily most likely being a damsel in distress suffering from a flat tire on the side of the highway, and Daniel pulling up just in time to save the day. In reality, Emily and Daniel met the modern way: by swiping right on Hinge (swoon!) in 2022.

For their first date, Daniel asked Emily to pizza and wine in Fort Worth. What was supposed to be just a dinner turned into 6 hours of getting to know each other. They have been inseparable since September 24, 2022!

A few of Daniel and Emily's favorite memories from their time together: watching the TCU Frogs go to the National Championship, picking up their new puppy, Teddy, and many (many!) camping trips to Big Bend National Park.

On June 1, 2024, Daniel got down on his knee on top of the Sinclair Hotel in downtown Fort Worth and asked Emily if she would marry him! This venue is one of their frequent go-tos so Emily was completely surprised. After coming back from a brief blackout, Emily said yes! Afterwards, Daniel planned the nicest surprise engagement party with 40 of their closest friends and family.

After the wedding, Daniel and Emily will live in Fort Worth, Texas where Emily will continue to work for Deloitte Consulting. Daniel will continue his career at Lockheed Martin as an engineer before they both move to Boston, Massachusetts. In this new chapter, Emily will be attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to earn her Masters in Business Administration.

After 2 years together, we could not be more thrilled for this next chapter of our life together to begin, and are so excited to celebrate with all of you on June 6, 2025!
