Although we met in November of 2020 on Hinge when we were both living and working in Jackson. Our first official date where we actually could go somewhere not on lockdown was to the Mt. Holly Ski resort as a fun New Years Day date. This date actually turned into our first overnight date as a snow storm hit and we got stuck at Brandon's aunt and uncles house with all of his friends.

After I met his family we went up to Houghton Lake for Memorial Day Weekend and spent the weekend on the lake and exploring his hometown with friends and family!

Our first Fourth of July together out on Lake Fenton, the summer we officially told each other that "we loved" each other!

The summer that Brandon was offered a job over in West Olive Michigan and asked me to move with him over to the west side of the state. We spent the rest of that summer/ early fall exploring the west side and deciding where we should look for houses.

The early fall when Brandon was commuting from Jackson to West Olive and we spent a lot of time in hotels until we bought our first house together in October of 2021!

We spent the rest of the 2021/2022 school year only seeing each other on weekends and special occasions during the week as he was living and working in Grand Haven and I was finishing up my second year of teaching at Onsted Community Schools near Jackson. But we always made sure to do fun things on the weekends to make-up for the time.

The day finally came when I could move into our first home we bought together and start our life together. We spent the first month exploring local shops, breweries and restaurants so we could get a feel for our new home!

Our first summer living together! So many memories were made with friends and families and we both knew we would spend the rest of our lives together!

Our first official vacation together! We spent our 2 year anniversary on a cruise to Mexico where we drank too much tequila and fell even more in love with just spending time together just the two of us!

In April of 2024 we got our first puppy together, Rip instantly became apart of our family, we learned how to navigate stress while simultaneously creating our own little family that we adore.

The YES day!! The day Brandon proposed at the Grand Traverse Resort after booking a fall color brunch! Thanks, Britt for helping out and getting the ring to us and capturing the best moments of our lives so far!

We spent our three year anniversary with my family and celebrated in Grand Haven (our new home) with the ball drop and fireworks. It felt great to be engaged and wedding planning to mark our three years together!

We watched our favorite football team (Go Blue!) win a national championship and have been wayyy to into football season ever since.

We got engagement photos and have been steadily wedding planning ever since. We cannot wait until May 10th when we finally become husband and wife and continue on our journey of life together as Mr. & Mrs. Johnson!!!! See you all there!!!
