Our Wedding

Meeting on August 10th, 2018 was the beginning of an adventure that both Ben and Emily never saw coming. From the countless dates, nonstop talking, to their first date together 9.8.2018, they were inseparable... making it official 9.28.2018. Throughout the years, Emily and Ben have had so many adventures from visiting Philadelphia to road tripping to Boston and flying to California and Arkansas. They have created countless memories in their years of being together and constantly learning more about each other.

When Ben came into Emily's life, he had no idea how much of a blessing he was not only to her, but to her son, Tyson, too. As an amazing stepfather, he has helped teach Tyson so much. From sharing his love of sports with him and constantly cheering Tyson on, to never leaving his side and making sure he is always okay... Ben truly does play a life-changing role to Tyson. From the first time Tyson met Ben, they both had an instant connection. Emily knew there was something special about Ben. On days that Ben, Emily, and Tyson have free time, they love taking on adventures together from family trips to the zoo, kayaking, venturing to different parks, swimming, and taking Nova (family fur baby) to different fields to run around and play.

Our Proposal Story  ❤

For years since Ben and Emily began dating, Ben has always been telling Emily how beautiful Christmas in New York City is and how he wanted to take her there. 1 canceled New York Trip and 4 years later, Ben was able to make it happen. December 9th, 2022, Ben and Emily woke up early, drove to Newark, New Jersey and took the train into New York City. This was such a magical moment for Emily as she has never been there before. Once they made it into New York City, the sights they saw were beautiful. From seeing all the Christmas lights displayed, Times Square, and walking through Central Park, it was definitely a memorable moment for them both to share. After a walk-through Central Park, Ben and Emily were looking for a nice spot to take a picture together. Little did Emily know what was to come next. They found a nice and not-so crowded (yet) lit-up Christmas tree at 1221 Avenue of the Americas. Right before it was Ben and Emily's turn to get their picture taken, the wonderful ladies behind them offered to take their picture. After a few pictures, Emily was quick to move as she didn't want to hold up the line but to her surprise, Ben grabbed her arm, pulled her back, and bravely said "I have one more thing..." As he knelt to the ground, Emily's hands covered in mouth, speechless, as the ladies taking the pictures screamed and cheered, drawing in an excited crowd. As Emily was tearing up, she looked up and saw so many people surrounding them, clapping and cheering. Then she heard the words, "Will you marry me?"&nbsp;Without hesitation, Emily said "Yes, yes, and yes!" as she knew she couldn't picture life without him.&nbsp;❤ Here's to our happily ever after :)

Our Story

Tyson Flythe, or the little man better known as "The Man, The Myth, The Legend." Our wedding day would not be complete without Tyson, making it 100 times more special. Not only does his smile makes everyone's day... he is the life of the party!

Nova girl, our sweet fur baby! Although she may not be at our wedding/reception, it's a must that she is also thought of on our special day. The most lovable pup there is!

Lucia Bonsib, better known as Emily's sister. There was no doubt when Emily asked her to be her Matron of Honor. Growing up, Lucia and Emily shared many differences (aka sister love), but now Emily is beyond grateful to have a sister and best friend all-in-one. From her creativeness and helping keep Emily on track to the endless shopping trips and phone calls, it’s always important to know that an older sister always needs her baby sister!

Veronica Cronin, Emily's best friend and cousin all-in-one. A few years ago, Emily and Ronnie really were able to connect on a family vacation & since then, have been inseparable! She not only understands Emily, but has always been there for her keeping her on the right path. With Ronnie’s sparkling and loving personality, it’s only right she is Emily’s Matron of Honor! She is so thankful to have Ronnie and that she is able to be part of such a special day!

Chelsi is one of Emily's best friends for as long as she can remember. Chelsi is a friend who Emily can trust, relax with, be herself, sharing gym inspo, countless inside jokes & create endless Tik Toks together (LOL). Chelsi is a one-of-a-kind friend who as always understood Emily, listens, and has her back. This special day wouldn't be right without Chelsi!

Kayla Cooper, Emily's first best friend from 5th grade until now. Kayla and Emily have so many memories together from playing in the creek, to dancing crazily to music, to endless sleepovers. Kayla has always been such a reliable friend to Emily, making sure she is doing okay, and always giving the best advice. She is an amazing friend who will last a lifetime.

The grooms younger brother. Matt is Ben's better half. He is a brilliant young man in the engineering field with a passion for sports and a good time with friends. Ben is so proud of the man he is becoming and loves is little brother with all his heart. It is an honor to have him as his Best Man.

The grooms best friend, Noah has been by Ben's side for as long as he can remember. His undeniable loyalty speaks bounds of his character. From elementary school to today, Noah continues to keep Ben on his toes. Noah is a talented chef in the culinary industry and has paved his own path in life.  It is an honor to have him apart of our celebration.

Aaron is Ben's cousin who has been a pivotal figure of support and love for both the bride and groom. A standout in the service industry, Aaron is selfless and always knows how to have a good time. It is an honor to have him apart of the big day.

Ceremony Location

This is the parking lot in front of our ceremony location, Linglestown Church of God. There is plenty of parking here. Please be advised you may have to cross the street on the way to the Reception Venue, Linglestown Historic Venue. Both Venues are within walking distance.
