Our very first date involved playing basketball at a local park then playing various Mario games on the Wii. Needless to say, I (Emily) won all these games by a landslide, leaving Paul in awe and vying for a chance to redeem himself. So we decided to get married so we could have a lifetime of competing against each other. The End!!

Jk in actuality we both left that date extremely surprised at the feelings we already felt were starting to develop, and from then we continued to hang out every day. We were so amazed at the number of things we kept realizing we had in common. Our relationship grew so quickly, but in such a solid way. We got to a point where it was a no-brainer that God had placed us in each other's paths for a reason and that reason is to share our lives with each other forever, and have so much fun while doing it.
