October 31st, 2014 — our first Halloween together and one of our very first photos! We went as a "milkman" and “milklady,” and let’s just say Carter may have had a little too much to drink (milk, obviously 🥴). Who would've thought this hilarious night would mark the beginning of something so special?

October 15th 2016 — our first dating anniversary, and the beginning of a whole new adventure together. We had just started nursing school, excited (and maybe a little nervous) to take on the challenge side by side. Looking back now, it was the start of something so much bigger than we realized.

July 27, 2017 — One of our first big festival together at WayHome! Music has always been something we’ve bonded over, and this weekend was full of sunshine, camping, and dancing to our favorite bands.

So many of our favorite memories have been spent up north — camping under the stars, jumping off docks, and soaking in sunsets at cottages with friends and family. There’s just something about being up north together with our friend's and families!

Over the years, we’ve been lucky to celebrate so many beautiful weddings with our friends and family — each one a reminder of love, laughter, and good drinks under string lights. Now it’s finally our turn to return the favor, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all of you!

October 2022 marked our 7-year anniversary, and we finally had a little something to celebrate with — our first real paycheques! After landing our first jobs as nurses, we saved up and took our very first trip, just the two of us, to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It was the perfect mix of sun, ocean, and well-earned relaxation after such a big milestone.

In February 2023, we took a big step forward—moving in together for the first time and starting our life under one roof. This cozy photo was taken just days after settling into our first apartment, surrounded by mismatched furniture, takeout boxes, and a lot of love.

On March 7, 2025 — Emily’s 30th birthday party — Carter got down on one knee in front of all our family and friends and finally popped the question! After 9 amazing years together, everyone agreed… it was about time! The room was full of love, happy tears, and the loudest celebration of our lives.

Fast forward to June 2025 — and we’re officially starting a new chapter together. After nearly a decade of memories, laughter, and growing side by side, we celebrated our engagement and booked our wedding together. This photo captures the joy and love that’s brought us here… and everything we’re looking forward to next. 💍
