First Date! Tyler and Emily's first date was at Moe's Southwest Grill near Toomer's Corner!

Dating and meeting his family! Coincidentally, Emily met Tyler's family the exact same day they started dating. Tyler and Emily met his mom and two sisters at Amsterdam Cafe for a birthday brunch. After seeing the love and laughter his family shared, Emily knew she had to be apart of the fun!

Meeting the Boyds! Due to Covid-19, Tyler was unable to meet Emily's mom and dad until they were able to safely get together. Emily's mom and dad came up to the condo in Auburn where they were all able to eat dinner together!

Tyler graduated! Tyler gained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University in May of 2020. The two moved him out of his trailer in Auburn and back into his home in Trussville. He began his career at Laempe Reich the following Fall.

One year! The couple celebrated their one year together in Birmingham. The majority of their first year consisted of long distance. Many hours were spent on Hwy 280 or I-65/I-85 headed to see one another

Together Again! Emily moved to Birmingham on June 17th to begin her preceptorship at Children's of Alabama. Tyler and Emily were now only thirty minutes apart.

Emily's graduation! Tyler and Emily were able to celebrate Emily's graduation from Auburn University's School of Nursing. She began her job in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's of Alabama that September.

The proposal! Tyler surprised Emily with the proposal during family pictures at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens!

The Wedding! Emily and Tyler are thrilled to begin their journey as husband and wife on April 29, 2023 at the Elms of Coosada
