Nearby Downtown Westfield and Downtown Cranford have a bunch of adorable shops, restaurants/cafes, and parks to check out.
A few of our favorites:
Westfield
Farinolio
Amazing Italian cafe/bakery/bistro with lots of delicious home made food. Highly recommend the coffee as well.
REVES Smoothie Cafe
Great cafe with a nice vibe to get a refreshing drink or snack. We love their açaí bowls and they also have great coffee options.
Mochimoly
One of our newest favorites in town! Korean style donuts and hotdogs are a tasty treat after walking around. They are pretty unique and we highly recommend them.
Patricia and Paul
Patricia and Paul is a great shop to browse around and buy quality gifts! We love their custom olive oils and use them in our cooking all the time.

Ferraro's
Our go-to sit down restaurant in Westfield. Amazing Italian food and we love their hand-crafted cocktails/mocktails! When in doubt and hungry we go to Ferraro's.

If you're exploring Westfield, add a stop to Mindowaskin Park. We always stop by here after having some delicious food in town to get some fresh air. Features a lovely pond with bridges and gazebos.

Cranford
Track 5 Coffee
If you're in Cranford and need a pick-me-up, you have to try the coffee at Track 5. Located right in the heart of downtown Cranford, we've been coming here for years. They have a wide variety of options with local baked goods and delicious seasonal specials. A must if you're in town.

Pastosa Ravioli
Located across from the Cranford train station and right by the wedding reception hall, Pastosa's is a great place to stop by and get a lunch on the go. Their sandwiches are the best around and have delicious hot or cold food to go.
