Will met Stick at Roosters on the night that the Tennessee Titans ended the Tom Brady New England Evil Empire. Their friendship truly blossomed during the "Summer of Golf" (Covid). Stick was in Harrisonburg with Jace visiting Will the night he met Emily at Urgies (luckily it was not at Finnigans.) Stick is who told Will to "man up and go" speak to Emily and the rest is history. So without Stick, none of us would be here. Stick has been a big factor in Emily starting to pay attention to Tennessee Athletics, much to the chagrin of Will. We are grateful that Stick got ordained soley to do our wedding and we hope everyone is ready to laugh and maybe cry.

Skylar & Emily met at Shenandoah University when they were completing their Master's of Athletic Training Degrees! Skylar has been there through all of Emily's ups and downs. From studying in HLSB all hours of the night, to Brews & Pics, to long distance phone calls. Skylar has had her maid of honor speech ready since grad school and Emily couldn't imagine anyone else standing by her side on her wedding day.

Will and Jace met in 2015 at Carson-Newman. Jace was a senior on the golf team during Will's freshman year. Jace was not sure about Will to begin with due to his love of the Vanderbilt Commodores and Jace's love for the Tennessee Volunteers. Jace quickly became the older brother Will never had. Jace and Will really bonded while eating at the Pizza Hut buffet in Jefferson City a few times a week, while also playing a lot of golf and attending Tennessee Smokies baseball games. Will was in Jace and Hannah's wedding and is grateful to have Jace stand by him for his wedding.

Will met Jessie at Berry College while Will was coaching golf and Jessie was a professor. Jessie was the first person to reach out to Will when he got there and it turned into a great friendship sharing their love for dogs, SEC football, and golf. Later down the road, Will met Morgan, who Jessie started dating at the time. Morgan and Will hit it off quickly and became very good friends from day one. When Will met Emily, he called Jessie and Morgan and told them that she was going to be the one. Jessie and Morgan welcomed Emily into our group with open arms. Their friendship will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we are excited to continue to adventure with them! (Now it's usually Emily, Morgan, and Jessie vs. Will!

Morgan & Emily met while working together at JMU! They spent many hours (procrastinating their actual work) in each other's offices in Godwin Hall. They share a love for Disney, athletic training (most of the time), Texas House, browsing Home Goods for decorations and Blue Moon. They both will easily enable the other to make a Disney purchase, which is truly always a good idea. Emily and Morgan are each other's first phone call when something "interesting" happens (and Will is always listening to the tea in the background). Emily is so excited to have Morgan standing with her on her and Will's big day.

Christian & Will met while working at JMU! The two were attached at the hip, before Will met Emily, but Christian was even there the night they met! Christian and Will would share many moments debating life at their favorite spots... Urgies and Billy Jacks! Emily would eventually join the nights at Urgies and Billy Jacks! Christian is the life of the party everywhere he goes and we cannot wait to have him be a part of the celebration!

Kelli is Will's sister but has so much in common with Emily that it was incredibly easy for Kelli to also become the sister that Emily never had. Emily & Kelli share the same profession, a love for ridiculous tv shows, and enjoy making fun of Will. Even though Emily & Kelli gang up on Will, Kelli will always be the first "yellow head" in Will's life. Kelli has been waiting for Will to find the love of his life so she could finally have a sister. Both Emily & Will are so excited to have Kelli be a part of their wedding day!

Cam & Will have known each other since elementary school. The two grew up together playing golf at Beaver Brook. Along with golf, Cameron and Will would spend a lot of time together eating Zaxby's and watching Kentucky and Vanderbilt play in almost every sport. They would also go to Cincinnatti every summer for the Reds and Cubs games. The greatest 'Cameron and Will' moment came during a high school football game where Cameron and Will were trying to wave at each other and a police officer thought they were trying to fight each other. We are grateful that Cameron is taking a break from talking about Kentucky Basketball for a day to celebrate Emily & Will!

Carson & Emily met while Emily was her athletic trainer at JMU, the first time she tore her ACL! This meant that Carson spent a lot of time in Emily's office doing rehab after her surgery, so Carson got to see a certain someone bringing Emily coffee everyday and maybe put two and two together before even Emily did. Carson has been a part of Emily & Will's story from the very beginning. Emily is so grateful and excited to have Carson bring her sunshine personality and be a part of their wedding day. (And be able to stand beside them because of all the BFR Emily made Carson do to make her leg strong again :))

Tom & Will met in college while playing golf at Carson Newman. They spent most of their time in college playing golf, ping pong, & video games, baking cookies, and drinking Landsharks. Toothpicks and broken helmets quickly became their saying when something was about to happen. Tom quickly turned Will into a Leeds United fan after watching games on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We are glad that Jefferson City brought a kid from Northamptonshire England into Will's life and even more happy that Tom will be there for their special day!

Ally is Emily's youngest cousin. Emily & Ally grew up going on Disney trips, being princesses, going to Nanny's "beauty shop", eating SLOBS and baking cookies in Baltimore, and even getting similar haircuts throughout the years. Ally's sons, CJ and Charlie, are also going to be the ring bearers for Will and Emily's wedding (and baby John is the honorary ring bearer, if he could walk!).

Joe & Will have known each other since elementary school. They played sports together through elementary (they wore the same number in jr pro basketball practice), middle and high school and spent all of their time outside of school together, primarily at Archers BBQ (St Louis sauce was better than Memphis.) They share a love for baseball and golf but the biggest shared love is Waffle House. Every year Joe and Will would go to Waffle House as soon as the New Year's Ball would drop, even Emily and Sam have joined the two at Waffle House on New Years. We are ecstatic that Joe is taking a day off from playing golf to join us for this day!

Pearls, Pearly Squirrely, The Potato, Princess, Pearl Kevin, Smiley, Pearly Whirly...all these names and it'll soon be Pearl Kevin Hurt. We love you!!!! Let's just hope you behave and don't pee on anything as our flower girl. Fair warning to all guests-beware of all the kisses! Our girl is a lover.

Early on in Emily & Will's relationship, we babysat CJ and Charlie for the day in Harrisonburg. CJ and Charlie locked Will in Pearl's crate, covered his head in stickers, and decided their names were Emma and Jason. Emma and Jason are so excited to have CJ and Charlie be a part of our wedding day.
