Where should we start? I guess from the very beginning. We met back in high school. The Hunting & Fishing Club and Trap & Skeet Club to be exact. Michael was always quiet and I was always very outgoing. Back in the in AIM days, (AOL Instant Messenger) for those who forgot what that even was, we started chatting. Well, one day when we were in 10th grade, Michael decided to ask me out. Of course, I said yes and was very excited. In a very short two days, Mike got nervous and decided to break up with me! RUDE!

Moving on, we graduated during a massive thunderstorm OUTSIDE, in all the chaos, and life continued on. I went off to college to peruse my education in Secondary Education and Mike went into the workforce. Mike and I have been in our careers for 8 years, he being a diesel mechanic, and I, a teacher.

Through those years, we both started families and creating memories with our children. Life happened for the both of us and what would you know, Michael decided to reach out. How might you ask? Well, this time he decided to message me through Facebook Messenger! GO FIGURE!

Our first date started with a walk around the lake, neither one of us really wanting to say goodbye. We had endless conversations and decided that this just felt right! After a little bit, we introduced our children to one another, and we haven't looked back since!

Michael proposed at Havre De Grace, Maryland. Bringing a touch of home into it for me. We are very excited to be planning our rustic wedding and finally spending the rest of our lives together.
