Mitchell and Emily’s journey began in high school, where their bond blossomed amidst teenage

adventures. A cherished high school memory for them was attending prom together. After high school, life took them on different paths, leading to a long-distance relationship.

Mitch promised to visit Em monthly throughout their four years of undergrad, often planning road trips in

hopes of catching one of her soccer matches. Since they attended different universities, they cherished

their summer and winter breaks back home together-whether it was hanging out by the

pool, challenging each other to a game of basketball, traveling, or enjoying date nights. Their favorite date night has always been catching a sports game over dinner and drinks at a local pub.

After college, Em pursued graduate school, while Mitch embarked on a job training opportunity in Minnesota.

Despite the distance, their commitment remained strong, continuing their monthly visits for another year.

Finally, after five years of long distance, they are back in their hometown of St. Louis, building their careers in the business world. They are ready to embrace

their future together—now as a family with their dog, Messi (yes, named after the greatest soccer player of

all time, Lionel Messi). Their love story continues to grow, and they are excited to celebrate the start of their marriage on May 24th!
