Once upon a time, Emily was traveling for work in Boothbay Harbor, ME. In the winter of 2021, she was working as a Physical Therapist at St. Andrew's Hospital and quickly fell in love with the area. After the Christmas holiday, Emily's mom, Tricia, spent some time exploring the area and visiting the local shops/eateries. Her sister, Morgan, joined them for New Year's Eve weekend and the three musketeers had a great time hopping around town visiting various establishments. After stopping at several bars in Boothbay, they made one last pit stop at Cook's Landing on the way back to Emily's apartment. The three burst through the doors blowing noise makers and turning everyone's heads. Emily went up to the only space at the bar to order drinks at what Myron called "the wrong end of the bar" because it didn't get quick service. He happened to be sitting at this end of the bar trying to enjoy some pizza - in peace. Little did Emily know, Myron was in a pretty bad mood considering he had just blown up his 4-wheeler to the point of being unrepairable. The bartender came to get Emily's order and left in a rush. After waiting a long, silent, awkward 5 minutes standing next to Myron, he finally asked "Are you waiting for something?" (He was really wondering who this cute redhead was.) Emily ever so politely said "Yes. For the bartender to come back with my drinks". Being the gentleman that he is, Myron flagged down a different bartender and got the girls their order. Thus ensued the "small talk". Almost immediately, the two couldn't get enough of each other! They chatted on and off all night and ended up spending nearly every day of the next week together. Myron introduced Emily to his best friends and family members. Then... he left for 3 months. But, distance couldn't put out this flame! Since then, the two have traveled all over the country together, made several road trips to NNY to visit Emily's family, and have settled into their "new" home on Medomak Pond in Waldoboro, ME.
