Our Love Story

Picture of Our Love Story

Jordan and I met in November of 2020 when he used a cheesy pick up line and I realized he was a goof ball like me. On our first date I remember him rambling nervously about everything there was to know about him, especially how much his family means to him. He remembers a nervoous Emily smiling at him and hanging on his every word. We started hanging out daily when he would come over to study with me, even though I was studying for my SIE and series exams and he was study for his classes we just enjoyed having someone to review our topics with.

Not long after I told Jordan about this beautiful puppy who was the runt of her litter and how I fell in love with her and come hell or high water she was mine. He looked at her picture and said “I’m going to be a dog dad” with the biggest smile. Even though she was supposed to be my dog, from the moment he held her, they were inseparable. He even came up wiith the name Kippley to honor my late father who went by the nickname Kip. She brought us even closer together as we watched her grow along with our relationship.

Shortly after getting our boy Copper, while on a trip to Colorado, he proposed on the side of a beautiful moutain in August of 2022. As we get closer to the big day, we are extremely thankful for all the help from our families with the planning process.
