Emily grew up in Woodbury, Minnesota. She ventured to Kansas to be a KU student. She pursued a nursing degree and graduated from Baker University in 2022. Emily works as a Pediatric ICU nurse at Children's Mercy.

Brady grew up in Shawnee, Kansas. He went to school to play baseball and ultimately got his degree from University of South Carolina - Upstate. Brady works for Shamrock Trading Corporation in the brokerage department.

Brady and Emily met in spring of 2022. They spent that summer frequenting the Hot County Nights and Lake of the Ozarks. On the Fourth of July, Brady's hip bone broke Emily's collarbone in a tubing accident! Just days later, Brady was introduced to Emily's parents. Fall came and the collar bone healed and Brady cheered on Emily as she was completing her last semester of nursing school. She decided on a job with Children's Mercy and moved to Kansas City in January 2023. In 2023 we rooted for our Chiefs as they became Super Bowl Champs!! We welcomed Brady's niece Lyla to the world, we traveled to Idaho, Gulf Shores, Minnesota, and the Lake (no broken bones, YAY!) We loved on our dogs Bear and Beau and fostered a stray. Brady and Emily's favorite things to do are find new breweries and wineries to try, play golf, cheer on KU and the Chiefs and watch The Office. Brady Proposed on December 9th on the Country Club Plaza. We celebrated with a surprise dinner with Emily and Brady's Families. We immediately started planning our BIG DAY and we cannot wait for you to join us!
