Our Wedding

Cooper and Emily met during Altoona Palooza mud volleyball tournament in 2022. They ended up playing against each other during the tournament. After the tournament she asked him for his phone number in hopes he played in an indoor league so she could potentially join too. He gave her his phone number and ended up not responding to her text message. The summer of 2023 Emily asked Cooper if he wanted to come to Ankeny-fest to hang out with her and some of her friends. Cooper brought his group out to Ankeny and they had fun listening to live music and playing pool. He kindly gave Em a ride home at the end of the night. That fall Emily had an extra ticket to an Iowa State Volleyball match in Ames, so she asked Coop if he would like to join her. Since that "first date" these two have claimed they found their person. The happy couple enjoys playing volleyball, slow pitch and golf. While Emily loves a good night in, Coop gets her out of the house once in a while to see friends and family or to have a fun date night. For Christmas Emily surprised Coop with tickets to a Chicago Cubs game. They planned a trip out of it for May of 2024. It being both of their first times to Chicago the trip was already special. The windy city ended up blowing Coop down onto one knee where he asked Em to be his forever! Truly one of the best days &lt;3 They are so excited to tie the knot and celebrate with their closest friends and family! Join them on 5-10-2025 in Coon Rapids!

Cooper Huff

Lillie is the bride's younger sister. While they are similar in many ways their style and decor choices are very different. Emily loves bright miss-matching fabrics/designs and Lillie is on the more beige-neutrals-monochrome vibes. Now that they are older they are besties- it only took 24 years!

Jordan is Cooper's older brother. Jordan is the life of the party. He is often found traveling to new places and trying new things. He offers fashion advice whenever asked and knows when to bring his competitive side out. He is arguably the best bags partner in the family! 

Jordan Huff

Taylor is the brides older sister, She is one to always include others and has the biggest heart. Whether its playing dice or jamming out to old Disney songs Tay and Emmy have always been close. <3

Taylor Roe

Logan is another friend of Cooper's. They have known each other since high school and still challenge each other's golf game. Whenever Logan is in town you can find Cooper out and about with him.

Logan Edwards

Bethany is Emily's longest lasting friendship (going on 23 years). They have been friends since kindergarten when Emily moved to Manning. From neighborhood backyard ballerina plays to college roommates they have remained side by side.

Connor is Coopers first cousin on the Laven side. Connor and Cooper have history of being little shits together.

Jacci was Emily's preceptor at the hospital in 2019 for Emily's last semester of nursing school. They were instant friends, some say sisters from another life :)

Joey is Emily's brother-in-law [Lillie] and Hayden's dad! He joined the family last May and is excited to have more guys in the family as Em and Lillie team up on him quite a bit. Emily can always count on Joey to tell her if her outfit is ugly.

Amanda is basically a sibling to Cooper. She has been present throughout Cooper's life and he couldn't imagine the day without his "big sis." Emily won her approval with her athletic skills during their first "All-Around-the- World" competition at Stacy's.

Cass and Em met at the gym in 2023. While they don't often go workout now they find adventure in other activities. From Thursday night Bingo to Monday night martini dates, these two love a good reason to celebrate.

Murph is Cooper's little sister. She is spunky, fun and the perfect addition to the bridal party. Emily is excited to have another younger sister to spoil!

Audrey is Emily's maternal grandma. Emily owes her artistic eye to her. Grandma helped guide Emmy through art, church and music. Emily would not be the woman she is now without the influence of Grandma Audrey.

Haydie- Bug is Emily's first nephew! He is the most joyous, happy baby. Anytime Emily facetimes him he is found smiling from ear to ear. When Cooper is around he tends to reach for him. (Em is still the favorite) He loves to rip Emmy's glasses off- good thing she decided to wear contacts the day of!

Audrey is Emily’s first cousin. Growing up Audrey and Em would get into trouble teaming up against Lillie. Thankfully we’re all friends now 🤍

Trevor is Emily's step brother. Trevor is a hard worker and enjoys working on trucks.

LODGING AND TRAVELWe linked the locations of hotels in the area. We know this is a more remote location but we both have families in the area. Please let us know if you are having troubles finding somewhere to stay so we can help! WEATHEROur wedding location is outside and we all know how unpredictable the weather in May can be.. we will have a tent sent up and the barn for the dance is enclosed :)

WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTIONOur location is on gravel! We plan to upload a map with directions directly to parking and venue.
