Our wedding is being held at Valley Mills Farm in beautiful Swoope, Virginia. The address is 1808 Parkersburg Turnpike, Swoope, Virginia 24479. Transportation is available to assist you to the ceremony site and then to the reception barn.

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. The gates will open for guests at 3:30 p.m. Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6:00 p.m.

The dress code for our wedding is dressy casual. For May in Virginia, we recommend women consider flats or short heels to navigate the outdoor ceremony and for men to consider lightweight dress shirts. Jackets and ties are optional. We request please no jeans.

Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors. Please dress accordingly to walk in the grass. The reception will be held in an indoor climate-controlled barn.

There is a good chance that it will rain this Saturday. At this point, our rain plan is to have the ceremony and reception at the reception barn.

We are not providing formal transportation to the event. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Uber is an option for those who do not plan to drive. Transporation will be provided to the ceremony space from the parking lot and to the reception barn.
