Our Wedding

Michael and I met in 2019 right after I had graduated nursing school. My new job in the emergency department required me to have a shift at the local fire department, where I met Michael on the ambulance. It was a really slow day at the fire department, and I remember him being so shy around me! Him and I sat together in the living room of the fire station for about an hour watching Ridiculousness, laughing out loud but not saying a word to each other. We still love that show. It took about two years waving at each other in passing at the hospital that he finally reached out to me. He dropped off a crazy, combative patient to me in the ER and used that as his excuse to get my phone number. And the rest is history! We now own a beautiful home together with a house full of animals we adore, and can't wait to officially start our forever together.

We are very excited to celebrate with each one of you! At Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa Resort, we would like you to know that this is an all inclusive resort. All food and drinks are covered in your stay, as well as your airport transportation if you book through our room block. The room block requires a $100 non-refundable deposit per room, and does allow payment plans. We do understand the costs of traveling for a destination wedding can be a burden for some. In the event that you are unable to attend the wedding weekend, we kindly ask that you let us know so we can keep an accurate count of guests.

We’re kicking things off with a Welcome Party for all of our wedding guests! Join us for an evening of cocktails, dancing, and catching up. There will be an open bar, but no formal dinner—so we recommend eating beforehand. Rehearsal dinner for wedding party only 6PM-8PMWelcome party located at lobby bar for all guests 8PMA tee-time is reserved for men interested in golf Thursday morning.

Wedding day. Ceremony begins promptly at 6PM at the beach gazebo. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Ceremony followed by cocktail hour next to the gazebo. Reception begins at 8PM on the Mermaid Terrace.

Pool or excursion day. Use this day to recover and relax before your flight home.
