September 7th, 2020 is when it all began. We did not know it at the time, but one simple text of “Hey, what’s up” from Emily to Josh would change the course of both our lives and begin the tale of our amazing love story! Within a matter of weeks, our first date was planned, and yes, Emily picked Josh up and drove to the restaurant (dive bar) that Josh picked out where he was living in Watertown. It wasn’t the best first date for either of us, but something compelled Josh to push for a second date with Emily who made him wait a LONG six weeks until she finally agreed to go on a second date to a local winery. This evening marked the beginning of our strong connection and our relationship escalated from this moment on! Fast forward to August of 2022 when Josh and Emily moved into their first apartment together in Quincy, MA. When we signed the lease, we did not know that Josh, four months later, would accept a completely remote new job in our 700 square foot, 1 bedroom apartment. To say the least, we really got to know each other during these next few months, and soon realized we had both found our other half. After almost a year of living together, Josh knew Emily was the one and decided to pop the question, the day after, moving into our current Waltham apartment. Emily was completely surprised by the proposal, however, had no hesitation in saying "YES" to Josh to be her life partner! Our journey of life together has only just begun, and we cannot wait to see what our future has in store!
