It all started with a blind date, set up by two of our closest friends who were getting married in 2022 (thanks, guys—true MVPs). At the time, Emily was in Idaho, James was in Florida, and neither of us knew just how much everything would change.

We spent 9 months doing long distance—cue the late-night calls and lots of falling asleep on the phone—until James made the big move to Idaho. From there, we spent two amazing years together, filled with spontaneous road trips, way too many renaissance fairs, and game nights that may or may not have gotten a little too competitive!

Then, on December 28th, 2024, James popped the question—and yes, Emily said yes (obviously… thats why you are here!).

Now we’re beyond excited to say “I do” and take on life—more game nights, more adventures, and all—with each other! We are SO excited to celebrate this next chapter and have our closest and loved friends and family all in one spot!
