We first met in February of 2020 at a local barbecue restaurant. After 9 months in a new city, Isaac finally agreed to download a dating app, Hinge, where Emily was his first date. It was important that the location of our first date had a ping pong table, as we both bonded over our mutual love for games of leisure. Our first game quickly turned from light-hearted trash talk to fierce competition. After a few games and a couple beers, we started to come up with our list of future date endeavors. While at the time we did not know it, we were quite literally planning our future together.

Isaac proposed to Emily on a VERY rainy afternoon in Asheville, NC. He popped the question under the cover of a gazebo at the North Carolina arboretum. Despite the rain, it was incredibly beautiful and a moment we will remember forever!

We have created so many unforgettable memories over the last 4 years and cannot wait to create a lifetime more. We are so excited for you to join us as we celebrate our love and say “I do” on October 26, 2024!
