We were set up by a mutual friend (aka Brooke Latham) who swore we’d hit it off. Spoiler alert: we didn't. Turns out, when two stubborn people are introduced, it doesn’t exactly scream “love at first sight.”

Fast forward eight months, and that same friend decided to try again—this time with a little more strategy. She pulled a full-on parent trap and invited us both to her lake house for the weekend... conveniently leaving out the part where we’d both be there.

At first, we were skeptical. But somewhere between the awkward small talk, we finally hit it off, grew up a little, and realized—okay, maybe Brooke was onto something after all.

Since then, we’ve been pretty much inseparable. It’s been a mix of laughter, learning, and two dogs. And now, we’re getting married!

We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you—the people who’ve cheered us on and prayed for us over the years.
