Our paths first crossed on our first day of PT school this date; although an uneventful day of COVID tests and online classes, it would be the start of a long, hard and loving journey together!

After meeting the first Friday after our first day at dinner with friends, we would then hang out on each of our birthday weekends where Matt asked Emily on a first date to drinks, good food and games!

A couple of weeks later, after many more meals together and late night facetimes, Matt asked Emily to be his girlfriend!

Emily and her roommates house would become a place of many fond memories during end of semester celebrations- the many classmates that become family and helped grow our relationship along the way.

After the first semester, we went on our first trip together to Atlanta- little did we know at the time it would be where so many memories would be made.

The first of MANY Braves games we would attend together- also the first stop on our journey to all 32 MLB stadiums together.

Our first trip to Asheville together- where our love for this city started and now gets to be the city we get married in!

First vacation to Hilton Head- the place Emily and her family spent many summers growing up!

One big mutual hobby Emily and Matt share is the love for football- here we are at the UGA v.s. Clemson game in Charlotte- first of many football games to come!

Speaking of football... first ECU game together, Matt's alma mater. Go Pirates!

Last minute decisions to drive to Atlanta from NC and buy game 6 World Series tickets at the box office will always be one of our most fond memories together!

One year of PT school down, and a lot of firsts together making new memories and traditions that we cherish!

January of 2022 took us into our first clinical experiences of PT school. Emily completed hers in Asheville, which also brought 10 inches of snow the weekend Matt visited!

After completion of clinicals and a short semester, we took a much needed trip to one of Matt's family's favorite vacation spots- Massanutten!

That summer we also continued our MLB tour- #2 Citi Field in NY.

And Fenway in Boston!

The next two semesters of school flew by, bringing us to the end of our didactic work- saying "see you later" to the house and family where we grew so much together was hard, but new adventures were to be had in Atlanta for our first long term clinical together!

We packed our bags and left for our temporary home together in ATL for 4 months- we made the most of our time here with all the sporting events, good food and friends coming to visit!

At the end of great clinicals in Atlanta, we packed back up and moved back to NC for our last terminal clinical!

1,074 days since the beginning of this great timeline lead to walking across the stage with all of our family and friends there to celebrate our graduation day!

We got to celebrate in the happiest place on Earth, our first trip to Disney together with Emily's family!

All of the blood, sweat and tears all were worth it when we both found out we passed our board exam together on the same day!

Emily got her dream job in Atlanta, so we packed up our place again and headed back to the ATL to start our careers!

Bringing us all the way to this day, where Matt pulled off a big surprise and popped the big question in one of Emily's favorite places!
