Our Wedding

Emily and Matt met in college where Emily played soccer and Matt was playing baseball. They dated for a while but ultimately went their separate ways and took time to grow on their own. They reconnected years later and built a new relationship together with the knowledge and growth they gained apart. On August 3, 2024, Matt asked Emily to marry him on a spontaneous trip to Emily’s Outer Banks hometown during a walk on the beach at sunrise. Emily and Matt currently live in Greensboro, North Carolina with their 2 sweet fur babies, River and Mia. Matt works for Coca Cola and Emily works at the Greensboro Country Club. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with friends, family pickleball tournaments, downtown coffee walks, game nights, and espresso martinis! Thanks for reading a little about our journey, we can’t wait to celebrate with you in November.

friendly center is a great place to shop and have lunch! it has clothing stores, restaurants, nail salons, make up stores, and much more.

bur - mil park is a large park with a variety of activities like pickleball, golf, walking trails, and a playground.

one of matt and emily’s favorite spots to grab food and a drink when going downtown and a greensboro staple. everything is good, but try the hog dip!

boxcar is a “barcade” that is kid-friendly before 7:00p.m. it’s a great place to play games and have a drink when downtown.

the tanger center is a popular venue for plays and shows. cirque de soleil, hamilton, mama mia, and the book of mormon have been done here recently.

hanging rock is a beautiful hiking spot about 30 minutes from greensboro. a hanging rock hike was one of the first dates matt and emily went on when visiting greensboro for the first time. the view is breathtaking!
