Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?
Country Palms Wedding and Event Venue
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head inside to the reception area where you can enjoy some finger foods and beverages.
What time do I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony (@ 2pm), to make sure everyone is on time, and we can get the party started as scheduled!
What should I do if I cannot make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my rsvp or can I do it online?
September 2nd. Please do not mail back your RSVP, you can definitely do it online. Whether on the website or call/text Emily at (678) 790-5152.
Where should I park? Is parking free?
Yes, the parking is free. The venue will have staff outside directing you where you should park, so there isn’t any hold up and the vendors have room to come in and out.
What should I wear?
Semi formal/Causal. Men: black pants or khakis. If jeans are worn, they need to be dark with no holes. Dress nice, but comfortable. Please DO NOT wear the following colors related to the wedding, burgundy, light grey, light pink, and of course, white.
What will the weather be like during this time of the year?
Who knows when it comes to Georgia’s weather. It might be chilly or maybe warm. Grab a jacket just to be on the safe side.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding?
We want an unplugged ceremony. No phone or cameras allowed out during that time. That is what the photographers are for. If you would like pictures from the ceremony, we will happily send you some. During the reception, we do not mind.
Am I able to bring food/drinks?
Yes. Outside drinks are allowed. If you want to bring a dish, you are more than welcome too. Please contact Emily to let her know if you are bringing a dish.
Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?
Yes, food and drinks will be served at the reception. However, the kind of food we are having is finger food. So, if you would like to grab a bite to eat before the wedding, plan accordingly.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes, but we’re doing a BYOB (NO HARD LIQUORS!), you can have any kind or beers, coolers, wine, and/or seltzers. If you bring your own alcohol, you are your own responsibility. There will be tea, water, lemonade, and punch if you decide not to bring your own alcohol.
