I added the visitors center with over look but plenty of different places to stop!
If you plan to hike, I definitely recommend the below trails. You should be able to find them in the AllTrails App or there should be maps at the visitors center.
Long point trail (amazing view of the new river gorge bridge) Endless wall trail (amazing views) Bridge trail to Fayette trail Kaymoor miners trail ( includes 820 stairs only 1.5miles but definitely more difficult with the climb back up)
State park closest to the venue and where you’ll be staying. This is WV 2nd largest state park. Beautiful hikes and a great lodge with home style meals to eat at, as well.
All the fun adventurous activities here (white water rafting, zip lining, guided tours, mtn biking, etc.) or just stop by for some great food and awesome views .
Fun stop with local goods, fresh flowers, great coffee and snacks. Can also swing by and see WV beautiful capitol building (1900 Kanawha Blvd E, Charleston, WV 25305)
