Most people think we met at Winco, truth is we were set up by friends! My friend Rachel lied and told me this guy Berto at Winco thought I was pretty but he was too shy to come up to me so she gave me his number. His friend Travis told him the same thing about me. Turns out Rachel and Travis had been conspiring to get us together (thanks guys!) I ended up calling Berto first and we made plans to meet up at a bar and have a drink. Berto called me a little bit later and asked if I just wanted to come over and hang out and of course I said yes! When I got there I was super nervous but he had this amazing dog Brewtus who I immediately fell in love with. Berto and I had a few beers and literally talked for hours!! I felt like I had known him for years and we clicked so quickly and had lots of fun. Here we are almost 5 years later and engaged!
