Love You Big Time

As most modern love stories begin this one started on a dating app. Hinge for this particular story. In April of 2021, Dane came across Emily's profile and a picture of her with one of her many half marathon medals caught his eye. He made the first move, What's that medal for? The 500 Festival Mini Marathon, of course! Emily was drawn in by Dane's incredible mustache, dinosaur Halloween costume, and the handsome pup with an underbite (Houston) that was showcased on his profile. Long story short, Emily unknowingly picked the same day as Dane’s birthday for their first date. Dane showed up that Wednesday with sunflowers in hand and Emily came prepared with a birthday gift, a six pack of one of his favorite beers. They hit it off, closing down Sun King and ending the night with a drink at The Goat. Four years later on April 25th, 2025, Dane proposed on the same front porch where he met Emily in person for the first time for that first date. It was truly the most perfect day. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with y’all. And we expect the dance floor to be full all night long. Cheers!Love, Emily &amp; Dane

Elaine and Emily met during travel soccer in third grade. The two played center back together and earned the nickname of the Double Duo. What Emily loves most about Elaine is her sense of humor, how important her friends and family are to her, and that she's always up for an adventure!

Dane met Cam in 2019 over a game of pool at the Eight Eleven office. Over the years the two have played countless rounds of golf and Golden Tee, shared lots of laughs, and plenty of rounds of cards while out in Broad Ripple. What Dane loves most about Cam is his loyalty to his friends, his sense of humor, and his work ethic.

Emily and Lexi met Freshman year at Guerin Catholic in KAIROS (homeroom). The two, along with Izzy and Jeni, became the best of friends by the end of Junior year. What Emily loves most about Lexi is her contagious laugh, big heart, and compassion for others.

Dane and Spencer met while working at Medasource. The two, along with thier fiance's, have become the best of pals playing lots of euchre and having great dinner dates together. What Dane loves most about Spencer is his love for Wabash, his empathy for others, and his dedication to his hobbies.

Emily and Jeni also met in KAIROS freshmen year at Guerin Catholic, and by the end of Junior year, we, along with Lexi and Izzy were inseparable, spending their nights playing Just Dance and eating junk food. in Jeni's basement. What Emily loves most about Jeni is her love for her family, her creativity, and her quiet but fierce personality.

Emily and Emmet (aka Jack) met when he came home from the hospital in January of 2000, and the two have been fighting like brother and sister ever since. Love you, bro! What Emily and Dane love most about Jack is his creativity, his artistic eye for things especially photography, and his love for his family.

Isabel rounds out the Freshman year KIAROS crew at Guerin Catholic. Her, Lexi, and Jeni were already best buds, but they made Emily feel like a welcomed part of the friend group.  Over ten years of friendship with these girls complete with concerts, Korean BBQ, movie dates, and even a trip to Disney World. What Emily loves most about Izzy is her love for her family and friends, her work ethic, and her great taste in music.

Dane met Dan in 2023 through Spencer and MaryAnn. Simply put, it was love at first sight. We've loved going on dates as a crew from concerts to dinner dates. What Dane loves most about Dan is his positive outlook on life, his work ethic, and his love for soups.

Dan Morehouse

Camille and Emily went to Butler University together, but didn't actually meet until a year after graduation during a girls' night hosted by mutual friends. Fun fact: Camille thought Emily's name was Emma for the first few months of their friendship. What Emily loves most about Camille is her sense of humor, contagious laugh, and her empathy for others.

Dane met Drew (aka Hutchy) in 2016 and was part of the Franklin crew. And they were roommates (oh my god, they were roommates). What Dane loves most about Hutchy is love for his friends and Frank, his great taste in music, and his dedication to Rumble.

Emily met Tina Sophomore year at Butler University through their mutual friend. Tina then went on the pref Emily during sorority recruitment that next semester and after their conversation, Emily knew she wanted to be a Tri Delta. What Emily loves most about Tina is her ability to bring light into any room, her loud, Greek, lovable personality, and her contagious laugh.

Dane met Dre in 2016 when Dane came to Indy for work training and Dre's Franklin College (Go Griz) friends took Dane under his wing. The two have grown to be the best of friends. What Dane loves most about Dre is that he is Greek, he's taller than Craig, and his love for his friends and Jamie.

Dre Kapsalis

Dane met Cam's sweet girlfriend at the time, Sydney, in 2019. Dane had the honor of officiating Syd and Cam's wedding in October of 2024 and we are so thankful and excited to have Sydney return the favor for us. What Emily and Dane love most about Sydney is her love for Cam and Knox, her great hosting skills, and her card game skills.

Our Venue

Our venue is in a residential golf course community. Please be kind and courteous to the homes and residents next to the venue as well as when entering and exiting the neighborhood. The Ceremony with start promptly at 5:30pm. Please allow time to get to the venue, park, and walk to the ceremony area for you and your party to be seated by 5:20pm.

Hotel Room Block 

The Fairfield is a quick 12 minute drive from the venue. Check in is at 3:00pm and check out is at 11:00am. The cut-off for booking the room block rate is April 14th. To book, click the link below. It is walking distance to plenty of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants including some of the following recommendations:Breakfast &amp; Coffee: MOTW Coffee, Rosie's Place, StarbucksLunch &amp; Dinner: Yats, Fat Dan's, Bru Burger, Condado Tacos The hotel is also only a 5 minute drive from Downtown Carmel. IND is located on the southwest side of Indianapolis and is about a 35 minute drive (without i465 traffic) to Carmel. The airport is quick and easy to navigate. Uber and Lyft can be easily ordered and rental car options are on property.

The Plaza -a great spot to people watch and enjoy the day Penn &amp; Beech Candle Co. - make your own candle, we recommend making a reservation, plan to come back about 2 hours after your reservation to pick up your set candle. Sun King Brewery - Our first-date spot! A local brewery with three different food options for lunch and dinner: La Margarita: Mexican, The Den: upscale bar food, and Queenies: pizza. They have a wide selection of beer, wine, cocktails, and n/a options. The Goat 21+ - Where we got a nightcap after our first date. They have a full bar and delicious food menu. Local watering hole vibes on the original side. Make your way to the Scapegoat next store for a more upscale vibe. Social Cantina -a delicious and lively spot for Mexican food and great margaritas Wine &amp; Rind -quaint patio, great selection of wine and light bites

Birdies Miniature Golf Course & Sports Bar

Run, walk or rent bikes along this railroad turned pedestrian trail, we recommend walking to check out City Center and the Palladium. The trail runs North/South and has multiple access points throughout the Arts &amp; Design District, Midtown, and City Center.

Monon Trail

Every Saturday in the summer the Carmel Farmers Market is open from 8am-11:30am. We recommend going early to beat the crowds and lines. You can get everything from sweet treats and coffee, to breakfast sandwiches, brisket, and walking waffles.

The Month of May is iconic in Indianapolis. If you are visiting from out of town, we highly encourage you to go visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway while you are here. It is about a 30 minute drive from Carmel.
