Andrew and Emily met in 2017 when Emily was a freshman in high school and Andrew was a junior. After that year passed, they drifted apart and didn’t speak again until February of 2020.

Andrew messaged Emily about the church she goes to, Lighthouse of Hope, and went to church with her the following Sunday. After multiple ice cream dates every Thursday after he came home from working in Virginia, they began “officially” dating on March 6th, 2020.

During those 4 years, they loved spending time outside together and traveled to places such as Black Water Falls, New River Gorge, and the beach.

They went through the major steps of growing up together and always cheered each other on.

Andrew stuck by Emily’s side all throughout the busy time of going through nursing school. He was a huge encourager and helped her study, too. By the end of those few years, Andrew could probably pass the NCLEX with her.

Andrew has always loved to push Emily into trying new things. He somehow led Emily into one of his biggest hobbies…bow hunting!

In February of 2024, Andrew asked…and Emily said YES!

They closed on their first home in April of 2024, and are currently having so much fun getting it ready to move in as a married couple in October!
