Love in a Snapshot

Like a scene out of The Office, our story began in the hustle and bustle of a car dealership. Peter was the charming salesman, and Emily was the quiet receptionist. For a while, we were just coworkers, exchanging smiles and small talk across the reception desk. When COVID-19 shut down the world, there was so much uncertainty, and we both didn’t know if we’d ever return to work at the dealership. However, once those long, quarantine days were over, our mutual friend and now groomswoman, Abbie, invited us to a birthday party for her now husband. She gave us both the gentle push we needed, and we picked up right where we had left off. One conversation turned into daily texts, and late-night chats, and before we knew it, a love blossomed that was always meant to be- kind of like Jim and Pam but with less awkward pauses and “that’s what she said” jokes. Over the last five years, we’ve been laughing, growing, and falling deeper in love each day, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of our loved ones!
