The Santa Barbara Airport is the closest airport to the wedding venue and recommended accommodations. We recommend either renting a car or booking a ride share to get to your hotel or Airbnb. The Santa Barbara Airport is approximately 15-20 minutes away from Downtown Santa Barbara.

LAX offers more flight options and oftentimes less expensive flights into Southern California than the Santa Barbara Airport. The drive from LAX to Santa Barbara is about 2 hours. If you are flying into LAX, we recommend renting a car or taking the shuttle bus for $55 per person per trip (<a href="https://www.sbairbus.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">click here to book</a>). You can also take the Amtrak Surfliner train from LAX directly to downtown Santa Barbara.

The train is a great way to travel to Santa Barbara! The Amtrak Surfliner to Santa Barbara has several pick up locations in Southern Califronia, including LAX, Simi Valley, Burbank, Glendale, and San Diego. This option drops you off right in Downtown Santa Barbara.

The Santa Barbara Zoo is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. It is open daily from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Reservations are required for general admission. Admission for adults is $25 and children 2-15 are $15.

In addition to permanent exhibits, the Sea Center hosts unique events and special educational programming.
